Watch New Celebrity Apprentice Cast Revealed

New Celebrity Apprentice Cast Revealed

Two reality-TV veterans and a pop songstress make up part of this year's Celebrity Apprentice cast.

Bret Michaels, Sharon Osbourne and Cyndi Lauper may all get to hear the words "you're fired" from Donald Trump on the NBC program's new season.

Nine others are joining them, including — for now — former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who was impeached last year and is facing federal racketeering, extortion and fraud charges. He's accused of trying to trade state government business for campaign cash and of trying to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by President Barack Obama.

Blagojevich was denied the opportunity to compete on last summer's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

News: Rod Blagojevich's Reality-TV Dream Is Dashed

Blagojevich's reality show dreams could be dashed again. He was due in court Monday for a hearing in his federal corruption case, and his lawyers could address his upcoming appearance on Celebrity Apprentice.

A photo of the new cast shooting their opening appeared in the New York Post and reveals that actress Holly Robinson Peete and former baseball star Darryl Strawberry will also be facing the Donald this cycle.

Rounding out the competition: wrestlers Goldberg and Maria Kanellis, Take Home Chef Curtis Stone, comedian Sinbad, Olympic swimmer Summer Sanders and writer/comedian Carol Leifer — the inspiration behind Seinfeld's Elaine.

The selection of this menagerie of people already has taken a hit. Seth Meyers joked on Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" that the new cast of Celebrity Apprentice reduces the meaning of "celebrity" to "mammal."

In today's celebrity feuds: Ke$ha apologizes to Justin Bieber

These days, it seems impossible to find a gossip blog that doesn’t feature Ke$ha’s name in a headline. First, the singer got attention for the brash, bold, and unapologetic lyrics of her first single, “Tik Tok,” which prompted many naïve and excited youngsters to actually brush their teeth with a bottle of Jack Daniels. (Word to the wise: Don’t try this at home.) Then came her first public scandal, when she and a group of merry pranksters allegedly changed the legendary “Hollywood” sign to read “Ke$hawood.” (It was later ruled a hoax.) Later, she made out with equally outlandish singer Adam Lambert, just ‘cau$e $he can. Now, she’s done the unthinkable: The singer publicly criticized the grand dame of pop music, Britney Spears, and Canada’s cutest export, 16-year-old Justin Bieber.
In recent interview with Maxim, Ke$ha described Bieber as a “little baby,” and said how she would have loved to “push him around on stage in a carriage” during their presenting duties at the Grammy Awards in February. As for Britney? Well, seems Ke$ha was featured on a leaked track that contained the lyrics: “In ten years, Britney Spears…Britney who?” Today, Ke$ha took to her Twitter account to apologize: “dear justin b I am so sorry if my bad joke has hurt your feelings.u r obviouslyso talented andi would never mean to offend u. i think u r rad,” she tweeted. And the singer also explained the Britney-centric lyric during a recent guest appearance on Australia’s version of So You Think You Can Dance. (See the video embedded below.)
Truth be told, the 16-year-old Bieber is little, but I’d bet he probably didn’t appreciate being
